Aldi has announced they have limited the purchases to four products per customer.
It will help in ensuring that there is enough stuff for all customers during the buying-panic.
The popular supermarket chain took it to social media saying that the staff is working tirelessly so that they can keep up with the unparalleled demand. They also said that all their stores will remain opened and will continue to serve all the valued customers.
Aldi says they have good product availability and all the colleagues of the supermarket chain work tirelessly to replenish and restock all the shelves as fast as possible.
Aldi also added by saying that they have encountered an unmatched demand for things from their stores, for which they have limited the customers to purchase only four units for all the products and items.
Many shoppers have praised Aldi for taking such a big step and one shopper said that it seemed fair and anyone who was stockpiling is just being selfish, as there is no need for it.
Another shopper expressed their thoughts by congratulating Aldi was making such a big move, some even thanked the supermarket chain for being so sensible. Apart from Aldi, numerous other supermarkets have set their limits as well.
Some of the supermarkets have limited the purchase of items like toilet paper and hand sanitizer. However, Aldi happens to be the first supermarket to set plenty of limitations on all their products.
There have been plenty of videos and images that have been posted on social media, which showed empty shelves, lengthy queues along with fights as well. As people are buying in bulks due to the coronavirus outbreak.
US President Donald Trump has already advised the citizens not to hoard on the essential food items and supplies to stop the stockpiling and panic-buying as well.
