Actor Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Baldwin became the center of critics’ attention on Halloween after the couple opted to put up images of the family celebrating.
The couple posed with their six children in an array of fun and playful costumes on Sunday, with the images turning into a viral debate online.
Many critics referred to the photographs as tasteless and highly insensitive, especially after they were posted on social media, just days after Alec Baldwin accidentally shot dead the cinematographer for his upcoming movie titled ‘Rust.’
Hilaria opted to put up the images on her Instagram account, where she went about describing the family as one going through an ‘intense’ parenting ordeal.
While she did receive some positive comments and well wishes of support from a number of the couple’s fellow celeb friends, the public was quick to blast the couple for being ‘ridiculously insensitive’ after what recently went on.
The Halloween-themed images were brought forward just a few hours ahead of a recent article in the Los Angeles Times that allegedly spoke about how ‘three’ other shootings took place on the sets of the movie ‘Rust.’
One of the three incidents reportedly involved Alec Baldwin’s stunt double who apparently fired a blank, right after being told that his gun was ‘cold’.
On another occasion, a worker from the film’s props department actually went on shooting herself in her foot with a blank.
This shocking report was released just a day after both Alec and Hilaria Baldwin carried out an unplanned and sudden press conference regarding the death of renowned cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
During that very interview, Hilaria made several attempts to interrupt her husband Alec while he was speaking, and that led to plenty of social media users labeling her as an attention-seeking individual who was so desperate to speak on her husband’s behalf.
Do you think critics are justified in labeling Alec and Hilaria as insensitive for posting pictures so soon after the tragedy that took place on set? Let us know in the comments section and don’t forget to SHARE the news with others.
