An amazing artist is literally setting the art world on fire with his amazing movie portraits that he made with his fire-breathing method.
The secret lies in a special paint that transforms from being jet black to being transparent once it’s heated up. Dino Tomic, originally from Croatia, has managed to create art pieces that are as spectacular as well as stunning.

With a short demonstration, he breathed fire onto several black canvasses in his home in Notodden, Norway. With the flames barely missing the canvas, iconic movie characters are suddenly revealed such as John Wick, Godzilla, and both Heath Ledger’s and Joaquin Phoenix’s versions of The Joker.
Dino actually tried the safer method of using sunlight to slowly reveal the paintings but the problem was that once canvas cooled, the black paint would return. Besides, fire breathing is so much more fun to watch.
Dino said: “The process is trial and error since everything I do has not been done before, so I just try everything I can to make it work.
“I create everything that has a reason, either a story or a meaning, either for me personally or for the general public.
“I feel awesome making all kinds of work because I can think outside of the box and experiment with things normally no one does.
“I like to create art that I can let go. Nothing lasts forever.”
Even without the fire breathing, the Croatian artist had already made a name for himself with his tattoo artwork and amazing illustrations.
As evidenced by his fire breathing method, Dino also loves experimenting with chemically reactive materials that include gunpowder and thermochromic pigments.
He has even used water-repellent liquid that he uses on sidewalks so that the pictures are only revealed when it rains. He started publishing his work online on a regular basis starting in 2014 and since then, his Instagram account has grown to more than 500,000 followers. His DinoTomic.Art Facebook page also has more than 250,000 likes.
