What a unique and interesting makeover! It’ll also be an amazing disco wall for your fabulous dance parties. I mean, the sparkles! They shimmer, glimmer, and twinkle, giving this wall a decadent feel.
YouTuber jennbmakeupmagic walks you through all of the steps required to turn this wall into a reality right in your own home.
All the materials you can get at your local Wal-Mart or any hobby store. Here’s the list, enough for one wall:
– 5 or more jars of glitter — Jenn mixes it up by combining fine glitter with jumbo glitter!
– 5 jars of 16 fl oz. Mod Podge (or just get a gallon, if they have it at your store)
– Goo Gone, in case you make a mess on your floor (and what DIY project is complete without a mess?!)
– Sponge paintbrushes
– Putty knife

So, the first thing you’ll want to do is to combine the glitter with the Mod Podge and make a sort of a “batter” that you can paste directly onto the wall.
Make sure you stir that mixture well so that every glitter gets some of the Mod Podge lovin’!
After that, ans you’ll see that Jenn explains it in great detail in the video, but go in the edges with your putty knife and paint larger areas with the sponge paintbrush.
Just like so!
You could mix up different colors of glitter, or even section off areas of your wall in squares or circles to paint with glitter for more funky! The possibilities truly are endless when it comes to DIY projects.
