Authorities have issued an Amber alert for a 15-month-old toddler who wasn’t reported missing by her parents for months despite disappearing back in December.
Tennessee authorities have issued the alert for Evelyn Mae Boswell, 15 months, shortly after the Department of Children’s Services reported to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office that the toddler has been missing for two months.
According to the reports, the baby girl with blonde hair and blue eyes was last seen on December 26, 2019.
As of this moment, the police have involved the mother and the father of the child in the investigation and are working to determine why the girl’s disappearance hasn’t been reported for two months.
“I’m currently working with authorities trying to find Evelyn. I can’t say much more than that at the moment,” US Army soldier Ethan Perry, the father of Evelyn, wrote in his Facebook post.
Meanwhile, the young girl’s mother, Maggie Boswell, hasn’t commented on her missing daughter’s case. Her latest social media post dates back to September 2019 when the mom came up with a sweet tribute to little Evelyn.
“I’m not the best mom in the world, but I try so hard for this little beauty. I can’t even explain the love I feel for her, and I know she loves me too,” Maggie wrote.
“Lately my life’s been really sucky but she’ll come reach for me and say ‘mom mom’ and my heart melts and I’m reminded of her unconditional love. You can say whatever you want about me being a young mom, but I promise you my life is so much better with this angel.
“My life wasn’t ruined when I had her, she gave me a purpose and a reason to wake up every day and to better myself. There’s no love like the love from your child!”
As of this writing, neither Ethan nor Maggie have been linked to Evelyn’s disappearance.
