One American family who is among the 150 US citizens trapped in Afghanistan has reached out to President Biden, begging him for his help.
The family sent out a chillingly emotional video to the US President, asking him to help pave the way for the safe evacuation of more than 700 people from different countries that are currently trapped at the Kabul airport.
The news comes as so many individuals headed towards Kabul on Tuesday when a glimmer of hope arrived that perhaps the US would be resuming its flights to help allow the citizens a safe passage to their homes. But many are still stranded and waiting for help.
“Everyone over here is so scared. Please help, the father pleaded,” as the video slowly started appearing in local news channels around the country.
While the Pentagon has issued a grave warning regarding how it would swiftly retaliate against any attack carried out by the Taliban, there are still so many people waiting to be rescued from the war-torn nation of Afghanistan.
One US citizen by the name of Haroon explained how the scenes were absolutely chaotic in the country. “There are thousands of people on the streets and it’s just so crowded,” he mentioned.

“I saw that there were so many of them standing and sitting nearby. I just did not have the courage to inform them that I am a citizen of the US and I would like to go inside,” he mentioned.
The voice of Haroon resonated with so many Americans stranded in Afghanistan who are waiting for President Biden to take swift decisions that would prepare for their safe exit back home.
