An Italian man has taken the social distancing measures to an extreme level in order to protect himself from the coronavirus.
Considering that it has been categorized has pandemic by the WHO, people need to take serious measures.
In a video shared on Twitter, the Italian man is seen strolling the streets wearing a massive disc. This is his way of enforcing social distancing. After Wuhan, Italy has the second largest number of coronavirus cases with 12, 462 cases and 827 deaths.
The man was visiting the Testaccio market while protecting himself from the people through a large disc object he paired it with a tool, which is used to collect litter.
The social media user who captured the man asked him for what this security measure is and to which the Italian man replied for coronavirus.
The social media user found this ideal both hysteric and wonderful. As of now, Italy has called for a shutdown of travel for the entire European currently with its increasing number of death rates in the world.
The country implemented a country-wide lockdown as a measure to stop further contamination of COVID-19.
World Health Organization has advised people to maintain social distance from anyone who sneezes or coughs. This is because even a small droplet of liquid can have the virus.
The measures also request people to stay at their homes if they are suffering from fever or cough. And if you have older people at your home, make sure to take special care of them as they are more vulnerable to this infection.
More than 125,000 people have been infected by this virus with 4,000 deaths since its outbreak in December. This virus is spreading across the world and can stay active for three hours.
