Prince Andrew, after three months of public abstinence after his disastrous BBC interview about his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein, has been shown in the public spotlight, through the medium of none other than his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson’s Instagram account.
They were pictured together at their Windsor home, doing packaging for supplies the formerly wed couple were going to send to the Thames Hospice for the recuperation effort of the Corona pandemic.
This is after his decision and public proposal that he would stay away from public duties after the car crash of an interview he had with the BBC, regarding his involvement with the serial rapist and sex trafficking offender Jeffrey Epstein, who has committed suicide while in captivity last year.
The sensational accusations afterwards made by one of Epstein’s “sex slaves” Virginia Giuffre. On account of the Daily Mail, here’s how the whole drama played out.
“The Duke of York said he did not recall meeting alleged sex-slave Virginia Roberts – now known as Virginia Giuffre – and emphatically denied that he had sex with her.
The royal also denied sweating heavily on the dance floor at Tramp nightclub with her, on the basis he had suffered from a medical condition at the time which meant he did not sweat.
Andrew then sought to cast doubt on the authenticity of a photograph that showed him with his arm around Miss Roberts’ waist, but conceded that it was difficult to prove if it was a fake.”
After the whole failure of his campaign to prove his innocence, he has been hidden in the public spotlight, but some royal critics, after his resurfacing, claims that the actions and the choices the royal is making ‘exploiting coronavirus to creep back into the spotlight’.
Royal biographer Tom Bower has been severely critical of the Queen Elizabeth’s third child, and has looked down upon the whole matter as if it were a publicity stunt of sorts, without no real conviction and unfaithfulness to the royal prince’s declaration of public abstinence.
He has branched out further to say that ‘[It is] rather pathetic that he (Prince Andrew) exploits the coronavirus crisis to creep back into the spotlight. He should do good works but not seek to win kudos by posting trashy photos. If only they would both accept that their only public duty is to remain invisible from the public.’
