Although it took a little time Amazon wildfires has attracted the attention of world leaders and celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio who has donated $5 million for Earth Alliance in order to save Amazon.
This is not it as G7 has together donated $20 million for the cause. But it looks like we need to divide our attention as Amazon is not the only forest that is burning down into ashes.
NASA has recently released satellite footage that shows Amazon is not the only place on fire but there is massive blaze burning up in Central Africa.
As per a report, there were about 6,902 fires in the region of Angola alone in the past 48 hours. That is if compared to Congo that had 3,395, and Brazil that had just 2,127, is not a very uncommon phenomenon for the region of Central Africa.
The Data that weather sources were able to acquire says that Central Africa has suffered 3 times more fire than Brazil has in last 48 hours.
In his address to the public over Amazon Wildfires, Macron said that it is the time of “world crisis” and the situation should be dealt in the same way.
What they do not realize is that the fire in Central Africa is greater than the fire in Amazon.
But again, as per the reports, the fire is lead on by farmers that use the same technique each year to clear out the area for farming. This means that the fires are crop fire and is in control if believe this theory.
It also says that at this time of the year, the same technique is used every year and this means it is not something central Africa is not habitual to deal with.
But Amazon needs help it is our duty to help aid Amazon fire in whatever means we can and the best way to do is donate whatever amount you wish to, to provide assistance and support for the resources needed.
