Several men, who are believed to be farmers, were caught on camera ambushing fly-tippers before beating them and tipping their van over using their tractor.
The farmers ensnared the litterers as they were getting rid of piles of rubbish they brought inside their van in the middle of the night.
In the shocking footage, one of the farmers is seen exiting his vehicle and beating one of the litterbugs with a wooden plank. Another farmer is seen using a forklift of his tractor to tip over the flytippers’ van.
After the incident, the video was shared on Machinery and Construction, a UK-based Facebook page, where it was captioned: “B***** fly tippers! Watch until the end.”
Soon enough, commenters began applauding the farmers for taking justice in their own hands. “This is brilliant. Well done farmers,” one person wrote, while another suggested: “Good, teach them a lesson.”
Not everyone, however, agreed that violence and additional ‘contamination’ of the land was the right way to address this issue.
“Hang on, they don’t like fly-tippers yet they’ve just tipped over the whole van and written it off, are you not fly tipping by doing that?” Darren Pool questioned.
“You can’t be kicking off about fly tippers if you’re then gonna damage a van and leave it there.”
The disturbing recording follows after a guy got attacked for catching litterbugs in the act.
46-year-old Dion Sampson from Oxfordshire, UK, had bottles and sharp pieces of metal thrown at as he confronted a group of vicious flytippers. In fears for his own safety, Mr. Sampson was forced to make a run for it.
