We all want to pet a cute little puppy to around with us and bring joy in our lives.
But sometimes it becomes hectic to raise a pet which is double than a normal dog having attributes of a wolf, husky and a dog at the same time.
Yes, we are talking about ‘Wolfdog’ – a canine produced by mating a wolf with a domestic dog. But Yuki was different than a normal wolfdog. His DNA testing showed that he is 87.5 % Gray Wolf, 8.6 % Siberian Husky, and 3.9 % German Shepherd, which definitely makes him odd one out. And his size was no less than a tiger making people afraid when they see him for the first time.
But the fact is, you can’t predict the nature of animals born as a result of mutation between two different species. Even though Yuki looked quite scary but he is just a cute little puppy from inside.
Yet, when Yuki was just months old, the owner dumped him at a kill shelter as it was proving to be too much to handle. Luckily an animal sanctuary came to the rescue and took Yuki with them.
Yuki was having such a beautiful smile and an outgoing personality that the sanctuary decided to make him their ambassador. But due to the injuries he received at the shelter and the surgeries that followed, later on, didn’t allow him to take that role.
While talking about his injuries, one of the members of the sanctuary said, “The wound ended up taking a total of 5 surgeries to finally repair and in that time Yuki became cage aggressive.”
Although now he has become less outgoing, he still loves meeting with people, especially girls :) Yuki got famous all over the internet when a photo of him was shared by Brittany Allen on Reddit.point 459 |
At first, people accused Brittany of photoshopping the picture and faking his size, but then she upload a whole video where she is seen playing with Yuki and people can’t believe what a giant this adorable dog is.point 184 | 1
Thanks to the animal sanctuary, as because of it Yuki was able to have a home.
