Snake catchers have shared a picture of a giant snake that most viewers struggle to spot.
There are few animals that know how to hide better than snakes. While these amazing reptiles definitely like their peace and privacy, they sometimes end up in human spaces where they try their best to stay out of sight.
Such was also the case in the photo below. But before we explain what exactly had happened, try to find the hidden snake!
Have you spotted the reptile yet? Probably not. Almost no one can see the hidden snake without some help!
But before we get to the solution, let’s talk about this situation for a moment.
The photo was captured by Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 who arrived at a family home following a report of a giant snake hiding in a green wall.
“BELIEVE IT OR NOT! There is actually a carpet python curled up behind one of these pots! Goes to show how well they can hide,” the service wrote on their Facebook page where they dared viewers to try and find the reptile.
“If you can see it, try sharing this on your walls and see if your friends can see it too! Well done everyone that got it right!”
As it happens, the snake in the photo was 6 feet long – and yet almost no one can spot it at first sight!
If you still need some help finding it, here’s a big clue. The python is hiding somewhere in the circled area below. Have another look.
Hopefully, you spotted the reptile’s scales by now. We can guarantee the snake is right behind this pot and if you zoom in and really focus you might just spot it.
All this time, the snake was curled up behind the flower pot and it took the homeowners some time before they were able to see it!
“THE ANSWER! Yesterday I posted a picture asking which of you guys could see what plant pot the 1.8 m Coastal Carpet Python was hiding behind. A lot of you guessed correctly so well done!” the snake catchers wrote in an update.
“Well the answer is Top Middle – if you zoom in you can make out some scales between the leaves – goes to show how well a large snake can hide!”
