The man was trying to remove the debris, which was in the animal’s jaws and cleaned his teeth. The video was recorded in Orlando, which is in Florida, and then he shared the video on YouTube.
The alligator, Mr Chomper, had debris stuck on his teeth because of a massive plant inside his tank.
After seeing the debris stuck between his teeth, Michael decided to remove it using his hand as using a toothbrush won’t be suitable.
The video has gone viral on the internet and Womer is getting attention from people for cleaning the alligator’s teeth with his hand.
Womer claims that he has been training alligators for the last 27 years and it has been an excellent experience for him to train these creatures.
He further said that he has always been a natural comedian and theatrical than a scientist and that’s why he uses his talent to promote the conservation.
The older alligators have around 80 teeth in their mouth, and it’s a tough job to clean them all while believing that the alligator will keep its mouth open, but because Womer knows so much about them, he was able to clean his teeth and take out the debris that was stuck between the teeth.
The alligators keep growing teeth throughout their life, so they don’t have to worry about the ones that they have. Watch the video to see how the man cleaned the alligator’s teeth using his hand.
