While humans are staying indoors amid the coronavirus pandemic, deserted streets have turned into concrete jungles roamed by goats, jaguars, pumas, and other wild animals!
Animals all over the world have come out to reclaim their land and people first started noticing the beautiful phenomenon after a viral tweet about swans going back to a small island in the Venetian Lagoon.
From mountain lions roaming the streets to mountain goats exploring the city, animals finally have the time to go around while the planet breathes.

Another wrote: “And now we know what would happen if human population suddenly greatly decreased or disappeared: 1) pollution reduced to very low levels within weeks; 2) animals reclaiming their space, also within weeks.”
A third added: “It would be great to have some semblance of this everyday, virus or no virus. Realistically we could, a world wide commitment to stay home a bigger percentage of our time. Perhaps too simple but it would still be great!”
