Ant-Man 3 has been officially confirmed as Director Peyton Reed signed the deal to return for the third installment of the popular franchise.
The tiny Marvel Cinematic Universe hero will once again come to the screens as directed by Mr. Reed who previously worked on Ant-Man, 2015, and Ant-Man and the Wasp, 2018.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Paul Rudd will most likely return as the legendary hero, Scott Lang, who mastered the power of changing his size.
While the rumors previously implied that there was little chance of an Ant-Man threequel, MCU fans are thrilled to know that the tiny hero will have another installment of its own.
As of right now, the creators are secretive about the plot of the movie, whereas no release info has yet been confirmed.
As sources suggest, the filming of the sequel will likely take place in late 2020 and 2021. The movie is expected to be released no sooner than 2022, whereas ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ and ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ sequel will have priority when it comes to filming.
The announcement follows shortly after Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed the rumors as she claimed that the original cast of Hocus Pocus has already agreed to take part in the Hocus Pocus sequel.
After Disney+ announced we would finally be getting a sequel to the popular 1993 movie, fans couldn’t help but wonder if the three witches would once again be played by Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker.
Fortunately, the trio expressed their interest in Hocus Pocus 2 with Sarah Jessica already confirming that the original cast is returning for the sequel.
“We have all said yes. Now we wait. X,” Sarah responded to a fan who asked her about the possibility of a sequel.
In the original movie, which aired in 1993, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy, and Bette Midler played the three evil witch sisters who were brought into the modern world thanks to a resurrection spell.
Despite the fact that the movie didn’t reel in much money in its beginnings, it somehow became a Halloween classic, whereas it is still played on hundreds of channels on a yearly basis.
