We all know vaccination is one of the best means of preventing a specific disease.
It is a biological preparation that provides active acquired immunity to a particular disease and usually given to people by injection to prevent them getting that particular disease.
But recently an anti-vax mother took to Facebook to show her frustration after finding out that her 19-year-old daughter got vaccinated without even telling her. She posted on Facebook:
“I apologize in advance. I need a place to vent. I just saw my daughter’s after visit summary from the doctor. She is 19. She can make her own decisions, I realize that. Yet I’m so incredibly disappointed right now. Six vaccines after everything I’ve tried to teach her,”
Her friends showed their support and consoled the grieving mother. One of her friends commented: “Omg that is heartbreaking”
While others also supported the mother and commented:
“There are so many things we can teach but then there comes the time when they grow up and don’t understand why we did what we did. Prayers to you.”
“I can empathize. It is heartbreaking. I will pray that she doesn’t succumb to anything as a result. A doc really has to be a little insane to inject so much in one day, eh? Hugs all around. Yes, go to bed. You need rest to heal, even emotionally.”
When one of her friends asked why she did that, the mother replied that she got vaccinated to prevent HPV that can cause cervical cancer and Meningococcal. She also said that she believes her daughter did it out of ‘fear’.
‘The Dr convinced her that the diseases were worse than any adverse vaccine reaction. I wonder if she will even understand what I tried to do for her’, she replied to one of her friends
Even after knowing that the vaccination is one of the best ways to prevent infectious diseases, the mother’s reaction is very hard to understand.
