Apple, the largest tech company in the world has until recently lost 30 billion in the market this Tuesday, saying that it won’t be able to meet its previous supply margin and that’s beacuse of the outbreak of the coronavirus.
There are several reasons which have led to this abrupt degradation in Apple’s supply margin. The first one is that, most of the Chinese workers comprising Apple are staying at home due to the fear of coronavirus.
Apart from this, most of the nation’s Apple stores are either found to be shut down or operating at intermittent hours.
One of the residents of Shanghai told that it will take some time for people to overcome the fear that the scourge of Coronavirus had created a few days before.
Some of the analysts are seeming to be a bit nervous about the fact that the demand for smartphones in China may come down to half within the first quarter of 2020.
It’s an undeniable fact that ever since China has become one of Apple’s iPhone partners, it has popularized its products amongst 29 locations in the country last year which was only 19 in the year 2015.
As reports say, fewer factories are found to be manufacturing Apple’s iPhones which has certainly led to the scarcity of using an iPhone by each and every citizen of the country.
This dearth in the manufacturing of iPhones in the entire of China has affected the total iPhone supply chain system including some of the most prominent iPhone suppliers like Taiwan Semiconductor, Samsung Electronics Qualcomm and many others.
Everything goes away with the passage of time, and, hopefully, China will also get over this crunch in their current supply margin and everything will get perfectly alright within a short span of time.
