Everything Looks Normal, But, Take A Closer Look At The Window.. Unbelievable!


When Argentinean architect Aldana Ferrer Garcia was thinking of ways to improve life in an industrial setting, she created this one-of-a-kind solution for the people looking for a closer connection with nature, even while living in closely quartered apartments in cities.

Simply looking out of a window in an urban setting couldn’t create a connection with nature as it would in a suburb or country, so looked at the only place left.

But be warned, her solution isn’t for the faint of heart.

Garcia’s design, aptly named “More Sky,” provides people in industrial settings with visual relief and access to natural sunlight and fresh air.point 295 |

As you can see, her “More Sky” windows swing out from the walls to create cozy seated alcoves.point 81 |
Each window provides a unique view upwards, and even down, onto the ground below.point 149 | Not only that, this specially designed window also allows people to catch the wind that usually wraps around the wall of their apartments to increase airflow into their abode.point 296 | 1

And, amazingly, Aldana Ferrer Garcia came up with this idea when she was a student at the prestigious Pratt Institute! In fact, this was her senior thesis, which was titled as,”An experiment in expanding and rethinking the limits of assumed architectural space.
