With the recent changes of law in Georgia that does not allow abortion, entire US is stunned and citizens and well as organizations are not favoring the decision that is banning all the possible measures of safe and healthy abortion.
Protests are being carried out by civilians against the same.
All women have the right on their body and by implement the law, the government has taken away the right from women.
This is especially affecting the women of minority and lower financial status as they are under pressure all the time and cannot stand against the government to get an abortion.
Recently, Arianna Grande had her concert in Atlanta but the anti-Pride demonstrators decided to carry out a protest right outside the venue of the concert. Looking at this, just after days, Arianna Grande made a donation for Planned Parenthood.
She donated all her proceeds from the concert for the cause which amounted to $250,000.
Dr. Leana Wen, Planned Parenthood Action Fund’s President said “Arianna Grande made her donation at the right time.
This is the time of trouble for the women as anti-women health ministers are just after banning all the safe and healthy ways of abortion and the donation will be of help for such women who are not planning for a baby.”
She continued “America is not ready to take it and neither will we agree on it at any cost. We are going to fight for the basic right we have on our body. Planned Parenthood is a right and no one should take that away from a woman.”
“Thanks to Arianna and generous people like her, Planned Parenthood still has a chance as it can continue to take the fight back.”
