If waking up from the alarm clock, slogging through rush hour, and grinding it out until it’s time to go home isn’t enough, one aspect that most office workers find the most trying is being part of a meeting.
It can take up a lot of time, precious time that you could have used to finish your project before the deadline.
Even worse are those meetings that you actually didn’t need to be a part of but found yourself attending anyway. After all, no one wants to be that person who refused to go to a meeting that the boss called.
One artist going by the moniker BeastFlaps found himself in a lot of unnecessary meetings. And since he was stuck there anyway, he decided to doodle his way through them and the results are absolutely epic.
Check out a few examples of his epic doodles:

Answering the question of why a few companies hold so many unnecessary meetings, he said, “I’m quite self-sufficient (I prefer that description to the term “introvert”) and I like to just get on with it, so for me, some meetings are absolute madness.
“Even some phone calls seem completely unnecessary. I’m not against face-to-face discussions if there’s a need to plan an event or product, but are you really going to travel halfway across the country just to tell me the top of the brochure should be sky blue? Well, okay then. I think a quick email with bullet points would save humans trillions annually.”

BeastFlaps reveals that he has always loved drawing. “I like the fact that you can create anything from nothing with just a few spare minutes, a piece of paper, and a pencil or pen.”
“I was easily entertained as a child because of that,” he said.
The artist also gave some advice to those who are having second thoughts about sharing their work with the world. “You don’t need to post anything about yourself to share your work, so you can detach your personality from the art if you want.
“If people enjoy your work or dislike it, then that’s all it is. I see many artists post photos of themselves holding their artwork and wonder how they could be so brave. I prefer to stand in the background, way behind a web of spider doodles.”
