Wondersmith says she has always loved the amanita mushrooms that grow up in winter in dark woods. But what you are seeing here is, in fact, a delicious dessert.

Wondersmith made them with “grown-up crisp rice treats with whiskey, chocolate, and help hearts form the base (with a dusting of pistachio ‘moss’.)”

6. Sea Urchin Tea Cakes

These sea urchins are tea cakes. In fact, these are made from Wondersmith’s “favorite chocolate cake recipe (with a special sea-based secret ingredient).”

The ceramic urchin tea set was also made by the artist. But it’s not eatable since it’s made of clay.

This cake resembling moss is Wondersmith’s signature recipe.

It is “stinging nettle and lemon cake with grapefruit and fir buttercream icing (and small layers of matcha genoise, but I didn’t feel like they added much to the experience of the cake).”
