Most of our childhood was spent watching Ash Ketchum trying to become a Pokémon league champion.
Pokémon, the anime show, has been the center of interest for millions of people who were mesmerized by the idea of unique pets with unbelievable strength and powers.
The main lead of the show Ash Ketchum has been running after his dream of becoming a Pokémon league champion for a really long time, twenty-two years to be exact.
The ten-year-old has been wandering on this path for so long that it has become a joke that he is maybe a sucky trainer who cannot even win the championship.
Thankfully, the Pallet town’s young dreamer finally achieved what he wanted, and Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon is ending with Ash topping the contest and becoming Alola Region Champion.
Ketchum came second in 2016’s Pokémon XYZ anime show. He suffered a crushing defeat in the Kalos League competition.
But now that he has won, it seems that Ash is not the only one who is celebrating his victory as people on the internet are expressing their joys to finally hear that Ash is now a champion.
Ash’s English voice giver, Veronica Taylor, was overjoyed with the news and recorded an incredibly sweet and special message to share on her Twitter handle in which she was congratulating and complimenting Ash, in the voice of Ash.
Hardcore Pokémon fans will argue that this is not Ash’s first victory in Pokémon League because he had won the Orange Island League a few years back. Yes, that did happen but it is noteworthy that it did not fulfill the standards of a league championship and was rather a challenge.
It is not clear if this victory has made Ash into a Pokémon Master, as a new series has been announced that will cover the complete Pokémon universes regions.
