Last year after an attack, the media house rushed to make Donald Trump their target and condemned him and his administration that was making claims that terrorists were intruding from the U.
S.-Mexico border.
While there is a probability that the small number of immigrants have been highlighted in an exchange with a larger number but it still remains a fact that someone did cross the border illegally and entered the US as an immigrant illegally only to perform territorial activities.
While the man who turned out to be a terrorist was an illegal immigrant in the U.S. turned out to be a threat that made the government believe he was not alone.
Just a year before Trump made claims, Abdulahi Hasan Sharif in 2017 had driven his vehicle and rammed into Edmonton illegally into police constable Mick Chernyk. He then moved out of his car, took a knife and stabbed the constable.
Later he rented a truck and fled away while the police were still after him. The vehicle he had used to ram into the constable had an ISIS flag in it and this is why Sharif was considered to be a terrorist.
His trial had begun last week but he did not receive much coverage from the media houses.
Sharif is a resident of Somalia who had entered the US from the Mexico border back in 2011 and has been living in America illegally since.
While many Somalis entered the US and had gone under a check where they were given the status of refugees and were allowed to live in the camps, reports say that this is not the same way how Sharif made it in.
He had entered the border illegally and had been running away from the authorities since then.
