Cocaine is an illegal drug that makes hundreds and even thousands of teenagers and adults it’s slave each year.
The drug if intoxicated in the body starts playing with the mind and the consumer feels a huge push of energy in their body.
This is why people consume the drug to get into a delusional world. The drug is extremely addictive and that is why it is treated illegally almost throughout the world. One can only use it if they have been prescribed for the same by their doctor.
Because it is illegal and it has a huge demand in the market, the smuggling of the drug never stops. The government and authorities are always in the search of such smugglers and dealers.
Recently, several packages were found washed off on a popular beach in Auckland. The police were called for the inspection of the packages and it was found out that those plastic packs were tightly filled up with drugs.
In total there were 19 packages that were found in a thorough search of the beach.
Colin Parmenter, the Detective Inspector working on the case said that they have found 19 packages but there are chances of more packages coming. He said that the amount of cocaine present in those packs has an estimated street value of $3 million.
The packs were plastic covered with a layer of the net on them.
Police said that the packages had been in the sea for a while because there were shells stuck on the net.
Police also confirmed that they will carry out an inspection and daily patrolling of the beach to find any more packages. They are also trying to find the source of the packages that were washed off to the beach.
