A recent study by Van Monster has concluded that people who drive Audi are the least competent, honest and considerate.
While driving at least, if not always.
According to the well-known used van seller, they conducted a study encompassing 2,000 drivers and found that people who drive an Audi are most probably the ones who don’t realize their mistakes in accidents. They also park in such a way as to cause a problem for others.
The study found that Audi drivers were the most likely to commit 17 of the 33 common driving mistakes. They were also found to be the most probable ones to be involved in road rage.
On the other hand, Volvo drivers were marked among the safest and the most careful drivers, just ahead of Honda and Hyundai drivers.
Along with being the least probable to cause damage, Volvo drivers were also found to be the most open to accepting their mistakes, making them the polar opposite of Audi guys.
BMW drivers unexpectedly didn’t make it to any top position for causing distress on the road in any way.
Range Rover drivers came out to be the most likely ones to open their car door in a way to cause damage to others. They were the most likely to hit another car’s side mirror with their car door.
Van Monster also conducted a similar study some time ago in which they found out that 67 percent of the Mazda drivers acknowledged that they swear while driving.
Audi owners made a notable entry here as well by being the ones most likely to shout at others. Around 52 per cent of the Audi drivers testified to having done this.
Audi drivers are also the second most likely to throw trash out of the window while driving, and the first place in this category is held by Nissan drivers.
Last year, a study by GoCompare found out that Audi drivers were the second worst drivers of all, only behind BMW and just ahead of Mercedes.
A spokesperson for GoCompare Car Insurance, Matt Oliver, said of the study: “While it may be no surprise that higher-powered, luxury cars are the marques of choice for some of the more dangerous drivers on the road, it’s not true of all owners of these makes.”
Yes, don’t make a prejudice about any specific group of drivers, not all the drivers of a same car model are the same.
Replaced!
