This Australian ex-model might have the longest legs in the world that measure 51.5 inches from hip to heel.
Caroline Arthur, who lives in Melbourne, is planning to contact the Guinness Book of World Records to challenge the record for the longest legs in the world against current Guinness World Records holder Svetlana Pankratova who has 51.9-inch legs.
Caroline said in a video from Barcroft TV: “When I realized that my legs might be the longest in the world, I was super excited. I think being so close, it’s worth contacting [the Guinness Book of World Records] and finding out.”
The 39-year-old, who started modeling when she was a teenager, said: “I believe that they are definitely the longest in Australia and, as far as I know, in America too.”
“The lady in the Guinness Book of World Records (Russia’s Svetlana Pankratova) has legs that are 51.9 inches long so it’s quite close.”
“Because it’s so close I think it is worth contacting them and finding out exactly where they measure from and getting an official, accurate measurement done.”

But, she says: “Mostly, I enjoy it.point 31 | My friends always have to be a bit prepared when they venture out with me because people do stare – especially if I’m dressed up in heels.point 147 | ”point 150 | 1
“I just know by now that if I’m going out with people in the evening, I’m going to get a lot of attention so I am sort of used to it. I have had a few people say nasty things but mostly it’s great and people are really nice”.
Caroline’s mother-in-law makes clothes for her. Her husband, Cameron is a builder and has made their house with 10 ft ceilings and extra-high kitchen.
Cameron said: “Caroline and I are about the same height but when we stand next to each other, her hip is much higher than mine. Being married to her is definitely good for my posture because I have to stand up straight.”
“I think her legs most definitely are the longest in Australia – I can’t imagine any longer. She was working in a shop when we first met and I’d go in and see her. I never really had a thing for tall women; I just had a thing for Caroline.”
Caroline added: “I can honestly say now, as a 39-year-old woman, I’m the most secure in my own skin that I have ever been. I feel more beautiful than I ever have in my life. It takes time, and you go through stages, but now I definitely see my legs as a positive thing.”
