Prince Harry and his wife Meghan will reportedly bring baby Archie to see the Queen at Balmoral Castle the coming summer.
Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, who’ll have his first birthday this May, will spend the summer holiday season with his dad’s granny at her Scottish property.
This will be the youngest royal’s first trip to his homeland since his parents relinquished their charge as the senior royals earlier this year.
However, the month in which the Duke and Duchess will be visiting Balmoral has not yet been announced.
According to the reports of the Times, Archie might accompany his parents at the trooping of the color that is going to happen in June.
Harry and Meghan are also going to see the Duke and Duchess of Wales, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, on their Wales Estate.
Reports say that the Queen was “very sad” over baby Archie not coming to the UK when his parents came last week. They left him with a nanny and Meghan’s friend Jessica Mulroney in Canada.
Harry and Meghan are also accused of “disappointing” the Queen when they rejected the 93-year-old monarch’s invitation to visit Balmoral last September.
The couple reportedly made a point that their child was too young to travel at the time especially after undergoing the stress of visiting Ibiza and going to Elton John’s residence in Southern France.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex publicly announced in January that they will quit all royal charges and will live a “financially dependent life” in Canada.
The Queen is quite upset about her great-grandson moving to Canada forever.
US Weekly was informed by a source that “[the Queen is] heartbroken over the thought of not getting to see her great-grandson.
“The Queen would love to have a relationship with Archie, but it’s looking unlikely that will ever happen.”
The source continued: “She’s trying to stay optimistic about this situation and would never stoop to casting any aspersions on Meghan’s character – even after everything that’s happened.”
