Gradually, when the baby gets the strength and courage, the mother will leave the baby in the trees for a shorter period of time to go search for food.

As bats are mammals, they drink milk from their mother until they are old enough to eat other food items. The baby seen in the video is expected to be big enough to stay on the tree, but he was seen clinging onto his mother adorably.
