Losing a child to death is never an easy thing to deal with for a family and this is the same thing this family is going through.
Chloe Wiegand was an 18-month-old little girl who died in a tragic accident as the baby girl fell out of her grandfather’s arms while the family was out on a vacation on a cruise.
Chloe was on the cruise with her mother, father, two siblings and her maternal as well as paternal grandparents. The ship is now docked at San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Chloe was in the playroom on the 11th floor of the cruise along with her maternal grandfather when the accident happened.
As per the reports, the grandfather was holding Chloe out of the window when he lost his grip and the baby girl fell out.
But the attorney Michael Winkleman said that the same is not the truth.
According to Michael Winkleman, the playroom had several windows but all the windows were packed with a glass whereas this one window had no glass. Chloe loved tapping windows, just like she did watching her elder brother play. Her grandfather had no idea that this particular window would not have a glass.
He had held her near the window when she tried to tap it, this is when he lost his grip and Chloe fell out of his hands.
Michael Winkleman, the only one responsible for the tragedy is the cruise line. It is their negligence that they left one single window without glass where as all the windows in the room were packed with a glass. Also, it was the kids’ playroom and they should have been more careful about taking this risk.
He is sure of claiming it on the cruise line.
