Every bride wants their wedding dress to be absolutely perfect and turn heads at their wedding, but one mother turned heads for all of the wrong reasons.
Whether it’s creating your own wedding dress or finding the perfect one for you, a wedding dress can be one of the most important things to plan for a wedding. The wedding dress is helps make the bride look her best on one of the most important days of her life. But what if the dress ends up attracting negative attention?

In May 2014, Aubrey was born to Shona Carter and Johnathan Brooks. The two were set to get married just one month after Aubrey was born.
As any mother would, Shona wanted to make sure her baby was part of the ceremony. The only problem is how she decided to have her one-month-old baby included. The internet quickly erupted with opinions from both sides of the fence flooding comment sections.
Instead of having someone hold Aubrey at the wedding, or perhaps even have Shona carry her down the aisle, they decided to attach her to the train of her wedding dress, so that as her mother walked down the aisle her baby was dragged along behind her.

It’s worth noting that Aubrey was not harmed in any way during the ceremony, but that has done little to convince commenters that this was a safe idea for her baby.
Some common criticism of the picture includes endangering the baby and tastelessly turning her baby into a fashion accessory.
Shona has not taken this criticism lightly as she posted on her Facebook with message for all of those who criticized her.
“The answer is we do what we want when we want long as Jesus on our side everything worked out fine and gone continue to be fine. Our 1 month old was awake and well secured on my train. Most important while yall got ya feelings in us we had our hearts in Christ which covers all!! [all sic]”

Even their wedding planner, Kaye Jordan, has defended the choice by posting on Facebook
