Whale sharks are absolutely adorable creatures, probably the cutest of the marine life, just because of their docile and humane behavior. Anyone who has had the chance to witness them can second that.
A group of Canadians recently shared their heartwarming encounter with a baby whale shark.
In the video, the group can be seen enjoying their excursion in Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Luckily, they got the chance to swim with quite a number of whale sharks during their time under the water.
The group chose Searious Diving as their tour agency because of its reputation for being conservational and ethical.

After the group had finished their swimming and diving activity, they started moving back to the coast, having one last look at a small pack of majestic whale sharks swimming around their boat.
Suddenly, they noticed a baby whale shark swimming directly toward them. The enormous animal was so close that there was hardly anything they could do to avoid it.
The tourists watched the inevitable collision of the whale shark with their boat first in a state of awe and then in concern for the innocent beast.
Luckily for the shark, the angle of its approach was favorable and the boat had a rounded hull. That’s why it did not sustain any serious injury and swam just past the boat, leaving the tourists in a sense of relief.
Whale sharks appear to be ruthless monsters and people are usually terribly afraid of them. However, a quick fact check can tell you that these innocent beasts can’t harm humans even if they want to.
The whale sharks have no teeth in their mouth because they filter the water for their natural food which is usually smaller fish, fish eggs, and plankton.
Moreover, their throat opening is not big enough to swallow something as large as a human being.
They are innocent beasts of the ocean in a true sense and are totally harmless. It is actually pretty sweet to get a chance to see one of them closely.
