Many people say that babies do not remember anything when they are born.
Aside from being very fragile, they also can’t see very well.
But when babies are still in the womb, they can recognize sounds. This heartwarming story will probably encourage all future parents to talk to their little ones during pregnancy.
Flavio Dantas and Tarsila Rosa from Brazil were so excited to meet their daughter, Antonella.
Her dad talked to her every day and after returning from work. He would tell her everything about his day and he would also repeat how much he loved her.
Flavio would also stroke Tarsila’s belly and he would tell their little one that he would always be there for her.
Even though he was not completely sure if his voice could reach Antonella, he continued talking to their little angel throughout Tarsila’s pregnancy.
When their baby girl finally arrived, she wanted to show her father that she had been listening the entire time.
After she was born, Flavio repeated the words he always says before, and baby Antonella gave the sweetest smile ever.
She smiled as soon as her dad started talking! Luckily, they had a camera to capture the heartwarming moment.
To make their day extra special, their baby girl was born on Father’s Day.
Tarsila described her baby as ‘A gift sent by my Lord’ and Flavio described his feelings for his newborn daughter as ‘a love that does not fit inside my chest.’
