Making a bird or an animal pose for a picture is next to impossible.
This is why, when a photographer manages to get a great picture of a bird or an animal in the wild, their work is appreciated in the right way.
In the same manner, an amateur photographer managed to capture a terrific picture where a bald eagle was looking right through the camera with its reflection in perfect symmetry in the water.
53 years old Steve Biro was at Canadian Raptor Conservancy when he took the most incredible picture of his life. The conservation staff brought out Bruce, the eagle and Steve was very excited to shoot him.
He said “I got all excited when I saw they were bringing Bruce out. The water of the lake was pretty calm and I was sure I will be able to get some really good clicks of the angry bird.”
“I wanted to get some reflection pictures. I love taking reflection pictures and this was a perfect time. I stayed at a low vantage point to get some good pictures of him. He moved across the lake quite a few times and I did capture some really good pictures.”
“There are many great pictures of Bruce but this one, in particular, became my favorite. The symmetry of this picture is what took my heart.”
“In this picture, he is looking right through the camera. He is angry and mean and is trying to express how powerful he is in the picture.”
“There were so many times that he flew directly over my head. He was so close to my head that he could have hurt me. But I was determined and stubborn to take the perfect pictures so I did not move. And the results of the same came out incredible.”
