Russian ballet dancer Nikolai Maltsev and his partner, Ksenia Zakharova totally wowed the audience as they performed Romeo and Juliet at the Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The pair gave an incredible performance and left the audience in awe. At the end of the performance, Nikolai who was playing Romeo surprised Ksenia, who was making her debut as Juliet.

Both, Ksenia, and the audience were not aware of the surprise waiting for the Ksenia at the end of the performance.

As the audience applauded the pair for their incredible performance, Nikolai disappeared from the stage for a moment.

He came back with an engagement ring and went down on one knee behind Ksenia.

When she turned around and spotted Nikolai with an engagement ring, Ksenia couldn’t believe her eyes. She was speechless!

A few moments later, Ksenia happily accepted his proposal, and the audience cheered for the couple.

Nikolai presented his new fiancée with a bouquet of red roses and left the stage with her.
