Balloon Artist Brought Rainbows To People’s Houses To Spread A Little Joy In The Neighborhood


Even a drop of joy in these tough times is enough to make someone’s day a lot brighter.

This is what this balloon artist and event management company owner decided to do.

The woman brought rainbow balloons and tied it to people’s homes in her neighborhood of Fairmount in Philadelphia.

Jace Florescio is a 33 years old woman who owns Florescio Events. She has been trying to give people joy as she covered the railing of houses in a display of rainbow balloons to spread happiness around.

But she was not limited to spread joy only to people around her. Although due to the lockdown she could not go around the city and do the same for all, she made sure to share the pictures on Instagram.

Through the pictures, she made an effort to share the same joy with a greater number of people.

She said that the community even though could not step out but really enjoyed and appreciated the balloons.

Jace is a resident of Philadelphia for the past 5 years now. She started her balloon decoration business last year in 2019 and has been able to achieve a lot.

From birthday parties to grand openings of huge brands, she has been a part of all.

She said that she has worked with several prestigious brands like Jim Beam, Anthropologie, and Dilworth Park which are located right in front of Philadelphia’s City hall.

Ever since the breakout of pandemic and lockdown, the business has hit a sore patch. Jace said that most of her events have been canceled or have been postponed to the end of the year.

But then, ever since they started the rainbow display for the neighborhood, Jace says they have never been busier.

She said that she got the idea after she read a post of kids drawing rainbow to cope up and help spread happiness around.
