The fact that plastic has turned out to be the biggest evil to our sea is affecting thousands of lives.
Not just humans but millions of sea creatures are facing the consequences of the mistakes we humans made.
Yes, the damage has already been done and we cannot go back in time to un-harm the sea. But what we can do is reduce our plastic waste as much as we can and join in with the initiative of cleaning the sea.

Just in the last couple of weeks, several whales have been reported to wash off to the sea, dead, with lots and lots of plastic wastes inside their stomach which were the reason of the death.
To work on the same, Vietnam and Thailand’s supermarkets have stopped using plastic covers for their fresh vegetables and instead of that, they are using banana leaves. Banana leaves are easily available in the region and work great as a binder for the vegetables.
Well, the initiative was first taken by Rimping supermarket in Chiangmai, Thailand. They then shared the pictures of the same on their Facebook page and that is how the idea went viral and more and more people in the country started using the same.
Vietnam, on the other hand, comes 4th on the list of plastic pollutant producing countries in the world so the supermarkets in Vietnam also got involved in the idea to do the best on their part.
Lotte Market in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam’s spokesperson said that although they have just started the initiative on a temporary note, they do have plans to make it permanent out in the entire nation. Well, they have taken a step in the right direction and we hope it brings them success and nothing else.
It is high time that we realize how much the sea needs us to stop producing any more one-time plastic usage because it is not only causing pollution but it is poisoning our sea. And believe it or not, the future of our planet depends on it.
