Bowers is among the few people who signed off on controversial loans totaling $2 billion to Donald Trump in the decades before he was elected to be the president of the United States.

It was in 2017 when his wife Abigail passed away. The couple shared three children together.

Bowers was the head of the American wealth-management division and oversaw Trump’s private banker, Rosemary T. Vrablic.

After President Trump took office, Deutsche Bank came under intense scrutiny for its controversial loans to Trump.

The company became the subject of investigations by the New York Attorney General and House Committees.

The New York Times reported in March how Vrablic reported to Bowers and was promised a salary $3 million when she joined in 2006.

Bowers told her in a press release announcing the new hire: “Rosemary is widely recognized as one of the top private bankers to the US ultra high-net-worth community.”

Trump was receiving loans from Deutsche Bank as recently as 2015 to purchase properties around the world.

One internet user commented: “If Trumps finances were all above board and had been properly audited then he’d have no problem showing them. It would actually give him a huge thrill to display his wealth. It’s the fact that he keeps them hidden that keeps the fire burning.”

Another wrote: “This dude’s suicide had nothing to do with Trump.”

A third said: “A man is dead, there is no evidence linking this man to any wrong doing whatsoever but still the haters must blame Trump for something.”
