Social media influencers share creative ideas and helpful tips to keep their fans entertained while acquiring something new!

Mommy bloggers make other parents feel like they are not alone, fitness Instagrammers share amazing workouts, and cooks help us come up with delicious meals.

However, some influencers get the wrong idea, like this ‘peasant’ guy who tried his luck with a famous bar.

Jarra Sherlock contacted Bulletin Place in Sydney and asked if they wanted to give him a few freebies in exchange for some Instagram photos advertising their bar.

This is not a new concept. In fact, many restaurants and bars do this kind of marketing strategy but not all companies are into it, including Bulletin Place.

Sharing screenshots of their conversation, Bulletin Place posted on Instagram: “Such a shame we’re so irrelevant. How are we ever going to popular…”

The first screenshot showed Jarra’s message, which read: “Hey guys I really like the look of your bar and have never been before, it would be great to promote you on my Instagram, all my followers are Sydney based so you would get lots of interaction.”

The bar then responded: “That would be great. Thanks!”

Jarra then added that he could ‘do a couple of posts’ for them in exchange for free drinks.

The bar replied: “Yeah nah lol. Good luck with your influencing mate.”

Jarra said: “Cheers bruzzy. Good luck with ya bar.”

He included a crying with laughter before adding: “Never actually seen your bar, I’m booked out anyway with all the other relevant bars in Sydney.”

Bulletin Place responded: “We were just listed in the top 100 bars in the world. ‘Booked out’ – I’m glad margaritas can pay the rent, you peasant.”

Savage!

But Jarra didn’t want to lose the fight so he replied: “Hahaha I don’t drink margaritas I’m not a homeless c*** or a pussy.

“Good luck with your s****y bar that you think is so great but no one knows about.

“Anyway I’ve got more relevant bars to talk to, thanks for messaging back though with such a nice response.”

Jarra signed off with a heart emoji. Bulletin Place then changed its bio on Instagram and quoted Jarra, writing: “Irrelevant bar…’ @jarra_sherlock12 – Influencer, 2019.”

Jarra then changed his Instagram handle after the online argument.
