Without a doubt, Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are termed to be couple goals for obvious reasons.
The pair definitely has a strong marriage and it reflects, setting a wonderful example for so many people who look up to the couple in more ways than one.
The couple says that it’s hard work and not an easy deal to keep a marriage running smoothly. And according to them, it’s all about love, respect, and plenty of support. But how do they manage to do it?
Being in the public eye and with a million other responsibilities on their shoulders, fans can’t help but wonder what the real secret to their success is. Hence, when the world kept on asking, Barack Obama finally gave in and sat down to give some valuable advice for those who claim they’ve found ‘the one.’
The news comes when Obama’s former communications director had a conversation with him regarding relationships. And that was before he made an attempt to leave the White House. Moreover, the duo spoke about plenty, including how to move on from a previous relationship too.
But what really caught my attention is the beautiful piece of advice that Obama shared with so many. “If you really want to know if she is the one, you need to do a number of simple things.
According to the former President of the US, you must ask yourself three simple but very important questions. The first question was, “Is she someone that you find interesting?”
“When you’re tying the knot with someone, they’re going to be inseparable from you. And your second half will be the person who you will spend the rest of your life with.” So that’s why it’s important that she’s interesting, the former president added.
Next, Obama says that you need to ask, “Does she make you laugh?” And that’s because he claims that laughter is the best medicine and the secret to preventing things from getting too boring.
And last but not least, he says that you need to ask yourself, “Do you think that she will be a good mother?”
Obama concluded by mentioning how life is long and over that span of time, it’s things like these that really matter. Do you agree?
