Barbarian Boerboels is a team rearing these beautiful dogs and almost has a dozen of them. They say that Boerboels are real war dogs and they are always at a war with every other.
50 years old Paula Gibson, and her 50 years old husband Danny Gibson are the ones to call themselves as the Barbarian Boerboels.
Paula says “Boerboels have always been the dogs of war. They are super strong and are always ready for war. It goes back to the times of Albanian king.
The Albanian king once sent a Boerboels dog to Alexander the Great and Alexander took him for hunting. But Boerboels did nothing. He did not hunt and disappointed Alexander the Great and so he destroyed it.
After hearing the news The Albanian king sent him another one and asked him to leave in a fight with a lion or an elephant.
Alexander did the same and left the dog with a lion and he was stunned to see that the dog took down the lion and broke its back.”
The average weight of this breed is around 175lbs and they can grow even more than that. An average Boerboels dog can eat up to $18,000 worth of food each year which obviously makes them massive.
An average Boerboels dog can be sold around $2,500 or $3,200.
Boerboels dog breed is on a rise in recent years and is dangerous if they are left alone with other dogs.
