The world’s oldest living and working barber who worked till the age of 108, dies.

Yes, you read it right; Anthony Mancinelli worked as a barber his entire life. He started working as a barber when he was just a child of 12 years of age as the Italian boy had migrated from his homeland to Newburgh.

The old man was working till this July after which it became too difficult for him to carry on. He finally bid his goodbye to the world.

Anthony outlived his wife who he was married to for 69 long years. He also outlived all of his 7 siblings and a son out of two he had.

He opened his shop Anthony’s Barbershop in 1930 and was the owner of the shop for 40 long years as he gave his services to people. After that, he kept working in other shops around the city.

Brooks Funeral Home announced that Anthony Mancinelli went to sleep forever on Thursday.

Anthony had his name registered in the Guinness World Records for being the oldest barber alive and for practicing his art of barbering for the longest time.

The young boy had migrated to the USA along with his family and started working at a young age of 12. He worked all around the city, going to each part of the city until he was able to buy his own shop as he started running the shop in the city of Newburgh.
