A Batman-themed restaurant is set to open and it will be called Park Row which will be located in the heart of London on 77 Brewer Street, near Piccadilly Circus.
The restaurant is set to open in spring 2020. A whopping 18,000 sq. ft. in size, the restaurant will lie in the basement at the Crown Estate’s Grade II-listed venue.
Guests will step down into a room resembling Batman’s lair, while the restaurant will have three bars and five different ‘dining environments.’ It will cost £45 ($58) per person.
The restaurant will also have rooms dedicated to other well-known DC characters. The Iceberg Lounge, which will be the most spacious dining room, will be dedicated to Batman comic book villain The Penguin and it will feature an international menu, cocktail bar and live entertainment.
The restaurant is a partnership between Warner Bros. Consumer Products, DC, and Wonderland Restaurants group which is a private equity-backed business founded by entrepreneur James Bulmer.
Bulmer said: “We are delighted to partner with Warner Bros to create their first immersive DC-inspired gastronomic restaurant experience found anywhere in the world.
“This is a project many years in the making, with every detail carefully thought out to deliver a unique experience for our guest.
“Trends in our sector are moving towards fun, immersive and experiential dining and our aim is to demonstrate this on a grand scale with exceptional food and drink to match. I am still a child at heart, inspired by the greatest stories and storytellers. For me, great food experiences are about unlocking guests’ emotions and creating edible memories.”
The restaurant is described as a ‘creative and innovation studio’ for the food and beverage industry and it is the first launch for Wonderland Restaurants.
According to the website, “Wonderland Restaurants is a rich melting pot of some of the finest creative minds and storytellers from the world of food and magic. Our company’s vision is to bring curiosity and wonderment to the hospitality sector in a way never seen before and build an international portfolio of immersive food concepts.”
