A shocking video is going viral on the Internet that shows a bear falling off a cliff into a river after villagers pelted stones in India’s northern Jammu and Kashmir state.
The video shows the bear trying to climb a steep slope while the villagers are chasing it.
The villagers were pelting stone and one stone hit it. Due to it, the bear fell down from a steep rocky cliff edge into a river and died.
The bear was trying to escape from barbed wire earlier in the day and when the villagers spotted it, they started chasing him and even pelted stones.
The shocking video footage was shared online and was slammed by Internet users. One wrote: ‘Had I been there I swear on my mom I would have pushed people throwing stones at the bear into the water’
Another said: ‘Happens when End is not far away’ while the third one said: ‘Hope it survived the fall and did not drown. It is time we learn to be animal-friendly and coexist with them.’
One user said: ‘First cut forests.. then kill animals if they mistakenly come near you. Human being ..lol’
