This is an adorable moment a large brown bear went to a grocery store, grabbed a bag of Tostitos, then sat down outside to eat his snacks.
A woman captured the magnificent phenomenon outside a grocery store in Lake Tahoe, California.
“So there was this woman walking out of Safeway and almost into a bear…. that was me… I’m the woman,” Adina Baidoo said.
In the video, Baidoo walks towards the grocery store and shows the furry animal checking some stuff inside.
A driver honks as she approaches the store but she reassures the concerned person that she won’t walk too close to the bear.
“This bear… has gone into Safeway and has decided he’s going to go shopping,” Baidoo says.
Baidoo shared that she had been driving before and was trying not to hit a bear. She was surprised to eventually see another one at a grocery store.
The huge bear just grabbed a bag of chips and sat outside near the entrance where he enjoyed his snacks.
One internet user commented: “Because of the wildfires, he needed a tostitos break. Also since humans were not in his neighborhood leaving goodies for him, he thought hed go shopping. Surprised he didnt stock up.”
Another wrote: “I saw a bear in a dumpster behind the McDonalds in South Lake Tahoe a few years back. Tahoe Bears have developed a taste for Micky Ds and Safeway.”
A third added: “Imagine if he had brought his mates with him for a sit down meal it doesn’t BEAR thinking about.”
Someone else added: “He couldn’t bear to pay the $2.99.”
