Before-and-after pictures of rescued dogs have been released and they are heart-melting.
10 Havanese pups ranged in age from 1-5 years, were rescued and moved to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
Foster Care Coordinator with the human society, Dana Johnson, described the condition in which they were found.
“They have just caked on feces and a strong smell of urine in their coats. It’s just so thick.”

The humane society posted online after rescuing the pups: “CALLING ALL LOCAL GROOMERS? We currently have 10 Havanese mixes from a hoarding cruelty case in our care.”
“They are safe now, but we need help getting them happy, healthy and clean for when they are ready for adoption? If you would like to volunteer your time to help us groom these pups between 2/7-2/9, please email danaj@humanesocietytampa.org.”
