An amazingly adorable beluga whale returned a kayaker’s GoPro after the device fell into the sea.
Joachim Larssen was kayaking out when the sweet creature swam up to greet him.
The friendly little fella called Hvaldimir is actually a local celebrity. He followed the diver’s kayak and got his attention.
Joachim wanted to take close up video of the friendly beluga so he decided to submerge his camera under the water.
Cute Hvaldimir came towards the camera and showed us incredibly captured photos. He looked into the tens and gave all perfect angles as he worked for his soggy photoshoot.
Then, he moved closer to the camera but accidentally knocked it off. The GoPro fell into the water and helpful Hvaldimir grabbed the device in his mouth and took it back to the surface.
After giving the camera back to Joachim, the adorable sea creature received gentle strokes as he bobbed around next to the kayak.
“I wanted to film him underwater and I think he knows what a GoPro is so he takes it from me and drops it before he goes down to get it for me.
“I know that he is probably trained by the Russians and that he was found with a GoPro harness.
“I was surprised and didn’t want to touch him in the start since I normally don’t touch wild animals unless I’m helping it.
“But in this case I made an exception due to how much he wanted contact, it was magical to meet him like this!”
It has been reported that Hvaldimir is so tame as he has been trained.
He even retrieved a woman’s phone from the sea.
