Dogs are the best friends a human can ever get and when they both work for the nation without thinking of their own lives first, it takes their friendship to a level we can never reach.
A solider broke out in tears as his best friend dog who had served in the army too was being put own to sleep because he was terminally ill.
In a clip released from the moment, the heartbroken soldier Huaibin can be seen begging the medics to let him be there beside the dog until the operation is done.
He wanted to be with the dog in his last moments so the dog is not scared of what is going on and goes off to the longest sleep with a relaxed heart.
The footage that was recorded on the CCTV camera was shown on state broadcaster on Saturday.
The soldier said that he realized something was wrong with his military dog when they were both in training. He said that his dog had a bit of a ball while catching it and then he threw up.
Worried about what had happened to his dog, Huaibin peeked inside his dog’s mouth only to find a lump in there.
He found out that it was a cancer tumor and that his dog might not survive it. He kept taking treatments for the dog no matter what. He said all he wanted to do was save his dog but the treatment did not cure him.
He became severely ill and the poor dog did not deserve to suffer from so much pain. This is why the decision was taken to send him down to sleep forever and release him from the pain that has been making him suffer every day.
