Two children, under the age of 10, have used the money from Tooth Fairy to buy toilet papers for pensioners who are struggling to make the ends meet.

Six-year-old Addyson’s mom Petrina McGuire posted a photo of her little girl and her four-year-old best friend Lucy, from Mareeba in Far North Queensland.

The cute photo shows the little girls holding their toys with a wooden cart in front of them, containing rolls of toilet paper.

“Loaded with toilet paper and tissues they purchased with pocket money and are walking around pensioner cottages seeing if they need any,” Addyson’s mom captioned the Facebook photo.

Petrina spoke to Daily Mail Australia about her daughter’s venture.

She told them that the little lady got the idea when she was passing through the toilet paper section of Coles last Friday.

The curious child was intrigued by why the toilet paper shelves were empty.

Her mother told her that people were stocking the commodities due to the threat of a lockdown caused by a probable outbreak of coronavirus.

“Addyson asked if she could buy some to hand out to those that may have missed out using money she had saved from the tooth fairy,” her mother said.

“The pensioners loved having them knock on the door and ask if they would like some as the shops run out – some people needed some and were very grateful,” explained Petrina.

People did all sorts of things from giving the girls bags of “fairy crystals” in exchange of the toilet papers to taking the rolls to the people in need.

According to Metrina, she posted the photo because “there has been so much negativity lately and just wanted to share something positive.”

The Facebook post also got an overwhelmingly positive response.

“Parenting done right! Thank you to these parents for teaching their kids what kids and some people are lacking these days – Compassion and looking after one another,” read a comment.
