It’s a tragic story of a brother and sister being ripped from each other’s arms.
Clifford Boyson was just three years old when he was to say his final goodbyes to his 5-year-old sister Betty Billadeau. The children were being separated so they could each go to a different foster home. After being entered into the system, alone and scared, even the pair were separated by the seemingly heartless system.
Clifford would spent countless years looking for his big sister so the two could be reunited once again. He sent hundreds of letters, all which were returned by the mail service. He remained undeterred as he never gave up hope. He couldn’t give up hope, as aside from his lost sister, he had no other family.

Though admittedly, Clifford never knew if his big sister was even still alive. It was possible that he was chasing a ghost his entire life, never to meet up with his beloved sister Betty again. Perhaps that’s why no one ever seemed to help Clifford find her. No one helped, that is, until a little 7-year-old boy named Eddie decided he would dedicate some of his time to help an old man find happiness again.
Nobody would help me until I came and met little Eddie
