President Biden is now depending on the Taliban to assist in giving evacuating Americans a safe pathway to exit Kabul airport and return back home.
The news comes as thousands of stranded Americans remain in the war-torn country as they wait for their safe evacuation.
Shockingly, the US President had just mentioned around 6 weeks back how he did not trust the Taliban one bit. However, now, it appears that he has little to no choice but to work with them and try to facilitate a pathway towards the safe return of US citizens that are currently trapped in Kabul.

In the same way, it was mentioned how the Taliban were currently in a position to allow the safe passage of US civilians towards the airport. “We will hold them towards that commitment,” they briefed. Currently, the Biden administration is in constant contact with the Taliban to make sure nothing goes wrong.
But just a few weeks back, Joe Biden boldly spoke about how he did not trust the Taliban at all. With thousands of stranded US citizens waiting helplessly in Kabul, the next few days will be crucial to see what really happens and how the Taliban behaves.
